Plenty of photographers enjoy capturing the charismatic spirits of their subjects—but Karly is the photographer making them laugh. With a goal to make each of her subjects feel celebrated, Karly is typically seen bouncing between NYC and LA, spilling her coffee on her clothes while snapping away, both creating and capturing the bright and youthful (and dirty) energy of the her neighborhood, the Lower East Side, and the sprawling and glamorous sunshine that is Los Angeles. Her style is environmental portraiture and her practice is multidimensional, as she loves casual photoshoots, headshots, touring, and full press days alike.
